About Walter

Walter began his career at Unilever, where he learnt the marketing trade. After a stint at Boston Consulting Group, he returned to the world of marketing when he joined Philips. His roles there included marketing director in Russia and commercial director of Philips AVENT. In 2010 he became a freelance brand consultant. As part of this adventure, he put Pokon plant food back on the map in the Netherlands and, on behalf of advertising agencies LEMZ and then Lemon Scented Tea, worked for such clients as ANWB (the Dutch automobile association), KLM Cargo and energy firm Nuon. He joined bol.com in 2015 to set up a new activity: a data-driven advertising proposition on the e-commerce platform for all its suppliers and partners.
