Scale-up Café

Last year, twenty fast-growing scale-ups in tech, e-commerce and digital media were given the opportunity to attend Scale-up Café and participate in meetings with top businesses and leaders during Emerce eDay 2018.

Together with our partners Accenture Innovation Awards, EY VODW and Vectrix, we’ve selected and invited twenty Dutch founders for whom we’ve facilitated meetings with potential partners, customers, investors, fellow entrepreneurs, coaches, advisors and press. Participating scale-ups were, among others, Vandebron, OneFit, The Next Closet and Cryptohopper.

“A very high level of participating guests. It was also great to network with other founders.”

Examples of the people they’ve been meeting with were CEO’s of the largest and/or most influential businesses in media, retail, fashion, tech and finance; CMO’s, consisting of the top 50 most important marketeers in the Netherlands; top tech entrepreneurs; the 10 biggest investors in the Netherlands; a group of coaches and advisors from the BIG4 and specifically requested Emerce eDay attendees.

“The cafe setting was great, had some meaningful conversations.”

This year, the second edition of Scale Up Cafe will take place at Emerce eDay 2019. With a new curated selection of 20 scale-ups, founders have the opportunity and space to meet with clients, advisors, investors and business partners in a cosy setting at Café Stork on the 11th of October. The guests will visit the founders during meetings of twenty minutes each. After that, Emerce eDay 2019 offers a great venue to follow-up.

Do you think your fast-growing company can benefit from participating in Scale-up Café 2019?

Scale-ups are hand picked by the editorial team. However, we’re reserving a couple of spots for scale-ups that may have escaped our attention. If your company meets the following criteria:

  • Clearly exited the startup phase
  • A revenue stream of at least 1M
  • Growing rapidly

And you would like the opportunity to do business with and/or receive advice from people and organizations mentioned above, do let us know. Please reach out to Willemijn Waterbolk.
