About Alphonso

Fonz Morris is an entrepreneur and self-taught designer based in San Jose who, since 2020, has been the Lead Product Designer at Netflix, after leading the design team at Coursera. He was named one of Business Insider’s Most Innovative Designers in 2021. He serves on the Adobe Design Awards jury and has spoken at conferences including AfroTech, UXDX, and Rethink. As an advocate for self-taught designers, he mentors students at General Assembly’s UX Design Bootcamp.
