Shahi played key roles in combating misinformation during the 2018 U.S. elections and in shaping platform strategies like Instagram Reels and Twitter’s compliance with the EU’s Digital Services Act. Before her tech industry tenure, she served at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Shahi, from the San Francisco Bay Area, holds a degree from George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs.
