AI for Africa – from dance to diagnosis

Nyoni explores the role of AI in various domains, from the “the world’s first AI football commentator” for the UEFA Champions League to an AI app for the early diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease, and from an app alert based on crime data to the first machine learning model that can identify black women’s hairstyles.

As the co-founder of Sila Health, he provides last-mile health care access across Africa using chat platforms and creates comprehensive datasets to advance healthcare in the region.
